Meet Dr. Ryan Griggs
Urologist at Salinas Valley Health and Men’s Health Advocate
Dr. Griggs completed his undergraduate degree at the University of California at Davis where he was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. In medical school, he was inducted into the Sigma Sigma Phi National Honorary Fraternity, spearheaded a student-run free clinic in rural Appalachia, and graduated with honors. He was later awarded his medical school’s highest achievement, the Dean’s Award. He became interested in urology midway through medical school and matriculated into a 5 year urology residency in Philadelphia, PA. There he acquired a passion for improving his patient’s quality of life from a continence and sexual perspective and then completed a 1 year fellowship in Men’s Health and urologic prosthetics such as artificial urinary sphincters and penile prosthetics. He continues to collaborate with giants in the sexual medicine field by going to bi-annual meetings, contributing to research, and completing extra training in Peyronie’s disease.
